They play an incredibly important role in the bmy.guide app, providing valuable information about the environment and businesses around the world, using their knowledge and experience to guide others. Their content is unique, relevant and impressive.
The development of the bmy.guide socially-powered search engine was made possible by the contribution of the Ambassadors, who acted as pioneers in its development. Our search engine’s unique feature is that it is powered entirely by a social media platform and is free from commercial interests or advertisements. This achievement is noteworthy and sets a new standard in this field.
Becoming an Ambassador can be an opportunity that enables you to represent your country and make a positive impact on the world. As an Ambassador, you’ll be able to connect with your watchers through postcards and reviews and build a community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for exploring the world.

How to become a bmy.guide Ambassador?
The Ambassadors’ enrolling program consists of five registration campaigns that aim to create a global network of ambassadors. There is a limited number of available places for each type of ambassador. To qualify for the verification process of each campaign, users must fulfil the necessary requirements. However, simply meeting these requirements does not guarantee a spot, as the final selection is determined by the bmy.guide system, which considers various additional criteria.
The Genesis Ambassadors
(registrations closed, 300 positions have been filled)
The selection process for the ‘Genesis Ambassadors’ started in January 2019 and ended in December 2022. Throughout the campaign, 300 users were selected to become Genesis Ambassadors — they are the pioneers and our early adopters. A Genesis Ambassador can be identified by an orange border surrounding their profile picture and by verifying their personal profile, where their ambassador status is indicated.
The Albatross Ambassadors
(in progress, 3.000 positions available)
In January 2023, the registration process for the Albatross Ambassador campaign started, and it will continue until December 2024. To be eligible for verification, a user must have created their account, include their location on their personal profile, and have published a minimum of 40 posts on the app. However, fulfilling these prerequisites does not ensure selection, as the bmy.guide system will evaluate additional criteria to make the final decision. On average, there will be 15 Albatross Ambassadors selected from each country.
The Eagle Ambassadors

The campaign is scheduled for 2025/2027, with 30.000 spots available, and an average of 150 ambassadors per country.
The Wolf Ambassadors
(not opened yet, 300.000 positions available)
The campaign is scheduled for 2027/2029, with 300.000 spots available, and an average of 1500 ambassadors per country.
The Butterfly Ambassadors
